where have I been?

I haven't been posting lately so there must be a good reason for it, right? Er, no. Blame it on Visual Pinball. It's a game beta and it does crash occasionally while I'm editing (which is why I save every five minutes or so), none-the-less I'm enjoying it thoroughly. I'm big on games where you can build things, hence my like for Rollecoaster Tycoon- and SimCity-type games. Heck, even Quake and Half-Life fall into this category because I can build levels for them. ...I'm on the verge of digressing here...

The game system is a combination of drag and drop design (placing and refining of walls, bumpers, spinners and other typical pinball elements) in a CAD-like manner and scripting with VBS so that the objects know what to do when events occur (being hit, timers going off, etc...) That's right, building and programming in one game! w00t! me=geek, I know :oÞ

The only part that I didn't like was not having any event sounds and background graphics to use because I seriously suck at producing either of those, but, thankfully to a few fan-sites I've downloaded some to give my tables some life and oomph. Now, pardon me whilst I indulge in more fun.
