Decided to walk to the Friends of the Library book sale today. I left around 11:50am (at 93°F) and got back around 1:35pm (at 98°F). I took a big bottle of water with me so I wasn't worried about the heat. Being out of shape however... well, to quote Tweety Bird, "oooh, I hurt my widdle piddies!" At the sale I picked up the following to add to my stacks of books:

* Madeleine L'Engle - "A Wind In The Door"
* R. A. MacAvoy - "Rafael"
* Julian May - "Intervention"
* Kit Pedler and Gerry Davis - "Mutant 59: the Plastic Eaters"
* Fred Saberhagen - "Brother Assassin"
* Michael Scott Rohan - "The Anvil Of Ice"
* Susan Shwartz (ed.) - "Moonsinger's Friends"
* Sheri S. Tepper - "Gibbon's Decline And Fall"
