should of posted this yesterday

On Tuesday we'd gotten a call from the insurance company of the guy who'd hit my mom's car back in December. Their inspector had looked the car over and declared it totalled. The insurance company paid my mother money and was supposed to pick up the old car. That happened back in January and they hadn't yet picked it up. Finally, after repeated calls the call of Tuesday they said they'd pick the car up on Wednesday. The car was located down my cousin's house since she had the room to store the car. Her daughter (Ms. Juvenile Delinquent) said she'd be there when they came to pick it up. All the company needed was the car door to be unlocked and the keys located inside. Well, they never showed up. A gentle reminder call the next morning by my mother led to a call to me by an employee of theirs (with broken English) saying he'd pick it up in 30 minutes. I went to call my cousin's house... and of course I couldn't remember the number! Ack!! So, I took a quickie shower, threw on some clothes and ran/walked to my cousin's house. Just in time to watch the company guy loading the car onto storage/thingy that already had 4 other cars on it. After that was done I walked 2 blocks to my uncle & aunt's house to grab a glass of water. My uncle told me he'd gone to my cousin's house that morning but her daughter wasn't home, so, it was a good thing I just came over rather than try to call the house repeatedly. I was going to return home but figured since I was already out I might as well walk down to WalMart just to look around. I ended up buying a bottle of water and a Mother's Day card. Yeah, it's kinda early but I know me. I tend to forget about these things until the last minute and being early for once wouldn't kill me.

Anyway, later after getting home I burned a CD of some music I'd been listening a lot to lately.

friday five (http://www.fridayfive.org)

1. What are your hobbies?
Playing computer games from Age of Kings to Rollercoaster Tycoon to Quake 2. I read lots of fantasy / sci-fi books. And downloading music from the internet of course. :o)

2. Do you collect anything? If so, what?
Not currently. When I was younger I used to collect comic books. I had over a thousand of them at one time but I stopped that after High School.

3. Is there a hobby you're interested in, but just don't have the time/money to do?
Not really. I have thought about being able to make my own music mixes. But besides not having the money for the venture I suspect I may not have the aptitude as well.

4. Have you ever turned a hobby into a moneymaking opportunity?

5. Besides web-related stuff (burbs, rings, etc.), what clubs do you belong to?
Real life clubs? None. I'm not much of a joiner honestly.
