dinner time

On Wednesday I had marinaded some chicken in a good teriyaki sauce. I grilled that, made some chicken Rice-A-Roni and then stir-fried some veggies: carrots, button mushrooms, yellow bellpeper, and some snow peas.

Yesterday was take-out Chinese. I had the fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken & veggies. Yes, more teriyaki. Good stuff.

As for tonight, I just took the steaks off the grill. The beef Rice-A-Roni (did I mention I love the stuff?) is already done. In just a sec I'll be stir-frying some veggies: snap peas, yellow wax beans, straw mushrooms. Yum! :o)

friday five (http://www.fridayfive.org)

1. How often do you do laundry?
Usually done every Saturday morning.

2. What's in a typical wash load?
Everything that was used during that week. Clothes, towels, bedding, etc...

3. Front or top loader? Powder or liquid detergent?
First off, the washing is done at a laundromat. Top loaders are used unless comforters are being washed, then the big front loaders are used. We've been using liquid detergents for while now.

4. Do you use fabric softener in the rinse cycle?
Yup yup. We use Snuggle. *insert cute cuddly teddy bear image*

5. Dryer or clothesline?
Clothesline? In an apartment complex? How... ghetto. Seriously, dryers are used. Sometimes if a piece of clothing is still a wee bit damp we have a collapsible garment hanger thingy to put them on until they're completely dry.

There's a new season of Stargate SG-1 on the Sci-Fi channel. That's good right?

Well, no. Dr. Daniel Jackson is gone now... at the end of last season actually. Phooey. He was my favorite character. Pardon me while I sulk. *sulks*
