Valentines and CD-RW

Every year my mother gets me a box -- ok, usually two -- boxes of chocolates for Valentines. This year I asked her not to. I really don't need them and since I got those fillings last year I don't eat too many sweets now. She asked me what I wanted and I told her nothing but being who she is got me something anyway: a 48x16 CD-RW drive! *happy dance* My old one was 12x4. Now, it should have been easy to install it. I had installed one before, Collapse )

My aunt called inviting me and my mother for dinner over that night. She and my uncle had cooked steaks, baked potatoes, broccoli and cheese, baked beans, and hot dogs. My aunt even made a cake but it had a few problems with it *cough*shedroppeditonthecounter*cough*. Heh. My cousin L had gotten me a small box of chocolate truffles. My aunt got me a t-shirt from Ralph Lauren Polo.

From there was a quick trip to Wal*Mart where I bought 2 DVDs: X-Men and Iron Monkey. While I hadn't seen the latter before I'd heard good things about it. I've played it twice already and thoroughly enjoyed it.
