From the webpages of the GuardianUnlimited: The Empathy Quotient (EQ) test and the The Systemizing Quotient (SQ) test

My EQ score: 27
0-32 = You have a lower than average ability for understanding how other people feel and responding appropriately. Most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20. On average, most women score about 47 and most men about 42.

My SQ score: 31
20-39 = You have an average ability for analysing and exploring a system. Systemizing is the drive to analyse and explore a system, to extract underlying rules that govern the behavior of a system; and the drive to construct systems. On average women score about 24 and men score about 30.

Regarding the EQ score: I could argue about it being not true, but honestly, I damn well fit the profile of a hermit; plus, groups of 3 or more people make me squirm, so, I suppose there's some truth to their analysis. link from Metafilter

if only my cynical heart could believe it to work as advertised

Anything into Oil: Technological savvy could turn 600 million tons of turkey guts and other waste into 4 billion barrels of light Texas crude each year.

...Unlike other solid-to-liquid-fuel processes such as cornstarch into ethanol, this one will accept almost any carbon-based feedstock. If a 175-pound man fell into one end, he would come out the other end as 38 pounds of oil, 7 pounds of gas, and 7 pounds of minerals, as well as 123 pounds of sterilized water. While no one plans to put people into a thermal depolymerization machine, an intimate human creation could become a prime feedstock. "There is no reason why we can't turn sewage, including human excrement, into a glorious oil," says engineer Terry Adams, a project consultant. So the city of Philadelphia is in discussion with Changing World Technologies to begin doing exactly that. - full article at Discover.com

If the big full-scale facility works like the smaller one then this technology is a big win. Reason for us to stay out of the Middle East (won't need as much pesky blood-money oil), reducing the need for landfill space, and, giving myself a reason to pat myself on the back for going potty (I'm a fuel source producer!) :oÞ
