friday five (http://www.fridayfive.org)

1. What drinking water do you prefer -- tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
Bottled water, which is pretty much packaged purified water

2. What are your favourite flavor of chips?
Hmm, anything that's has a sharp cheddar flavor, BBQ Pringles, and those dark Hawaiian kettle chips.

3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
Once upon a time I would have said a 7-Up cake which is a type of pound cake, but 7-Up changed their flavor and I haven't made it since. Now, I'd say ginger-pork with peaches served on a bed of white rice.

4. How do you have your eggs?
Either omelette-style which I use for sandwiches or in a burrito, or, scrambled when accompanied with typical breakfast fare (biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns or fried potatoes) and sometimes with corned beef and potatoes.

5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
I suppose that'd be my mother who had made pork chops along with sopa de fideo.

LJ and the weather

I renewed my paid account status for my journal. Since we can pay by credit card directly without using PayPal I deleted my account there. Goodbye, good riddance.

A bunch of new code went live in LJ maintenance last night including that fix by whitaker for that lost layer of mine. Any layer that didn't define a name for itself (which was supposed to be optional) wouldn't show up on the list of that person's layers. Mine's back and now I can go all evil scientist on it's ass. :o)

weather.com's forecasts are about as reliable as GWB's justifications of why we went to war with Iraq. It was 102°F today and the cooler still isn't hooked up yet. :o/ Hopefully on Monday it will be.
