where the hell have I been?

Thanksgiving afternoon was spent down my aunt and uncle's house. It was a double celebration of Thanksgiving and my aunt's 61st birthday. Much food was eaten though we made less this year than the usual. Still, there were leftovers including cherry cheesecake. Yum! My aunt got lots of stuff for her Christmas Village setup. Or as my uncle says, "Christmas Metropolis" as she has tons of buildings for it. Soon she's going to need a room alone just to hold all of it.

I wasn't planning on shopping the day after but we did go to Wal*Mart around noon. It was very busy but not crazily so. The worst part were the people who ran into friends of theirs and just parked themselves in the middle of the aisles yakking away. Anyhow, while there I picked up Age of Mythology. Much, much fun that is. In fact, most of my free time spent since then has been playing the game. Lately, playing around with coding random maps. The AI stuff looks a bit complicated compared to the system in Ages of Empires 2 so I don't forsee playing around with that for a while.

Musically, I've been listening to a lot of Ayumi Hamasaki remixes lately. I'd say I was a fan of hers but I won't since I really don't care for her slower music. I did download several wallpapers of her tonight though.
