It started off as a bright sunny day. The kind of weather perfect for going on a long walk. (No, I didn't.) But by mid-afternoon the wind really picked up. By 8pm it started to rain and it still is. It's very relaxing to hear the pitter-patter of the rain hitting the swamp cooler. I'd love to open my window for the scent of wet earth but it's a bit cool out there. In fact, I've heard the snow level is going to drop low. Not low enough for here in Barstow (~2100 feet elevation) but maybe in Victorville it will.
