Got a new monitor on Friday. My old one (17" LCD) started blanking its image after only displaying for half a second. I'd have to turn it off and on repeatedly for a good solid 4 or 5 minutes until the image would stay on. Took it in under the extended warrantee which then had to be shipped to be fixed. Three weeks was the usual length for repairs which was ok because I still had my 17" (well, 16" really) CRT. Holy crap did that hurt my eyes just after one day of use. Luckily, I got a call 5 days later (Wednesday) from BestBuy saying to come in and get a replacement 'cause mine was toast. I got to pick out a new monitor up to the price of my previous one, paying the difference if I wanted a more expensive one. I ended up getting a 22" widescreen monitor. <3 <3 <3 The cost difference? $10! w00t!
Got caught up with this week's new comics today. I have to wonder what was the point of "World War Hulk: X-Men"? Other than sales I mean. Nothing was accomplished or anything of importance revealed. Meh.
Since I last posted I lost some weight and then promptly gained it back. It's the story of my life, ya'll.
